About Milanti T. Kirana

Mila is a graduate from the Faculty of Law of the University of Atma Jaya, Jakarta. With more than 17 years experiences in legal practice, she specialized in commercial business law and has been involved in various complex and cross-border transactions. Her particular experience in structuring legal frameworks, providing strategy and preparing transactions documents for a broad range of transactional and transnational projects/cases within the areas of practice mentioned above has led her to handle various types of international and domestic projects representing numerous multinational companies and Indonesian conglomerate group of companies in doing their business in Indonesia.

 

She is a licensed advocate and member of the Congress of Indonesian Advocates (Kongres Advokat Indonesia – KAI), also a member of Labor Law Consultant Association (Himpunan Konsultan Hukum Ketenagakerjaan Indonesia – HKHKI). In MERITAS – a global alliance of independent law firms, Mila’s role are: (i) as a member of the Emerging Leaders Advisory Board, and (ii) as the Asia Emerging Leader liaison of Indonesia. She is acknowledged by Asian Legal Business as Indonesia Rising Stars in 2022, 2023, and 2024 also by Legal 500 as Recommended Lawyer in Shipping in 2023.
