About Pheo M. Hutabarat

Pheo is one of the founding partners who established HHR Lawyers in 1996 and a Managing Partner of the firm. A Law graduate from the Catholic University of Parahyangan, Bandung.

 

His extensive experience in drafting and structuring legal frameworks as well as transaction documents, within the areas of practice mentioned above, has led him to handle various transactional and transnational projects and facilitate various multinational companies that have business and projects in Indonesia.

 

Pheo is a member of: (i) the Presidium and the Chairman of Honorary Board of the Congress of Indonesian Advocates (Kongres Advokat Indonesia – ADVOKAI), (ii) the Indonesian Association of Capital Market Legal Consultant, in which he licensed as a Capital Market Legal Consultant (HKHPM), and (iii) the International Bar Association (IBA)

 

He has been acknowledged by Legal 500 Asia-Pacific in the Dispute Resolution practice area since 2006 and as one of the Recommended Lawyers in Shipping, Dispute Resolution, Restructuring & Insolvency, and Corporate and M&A and ranked by Chambers and Partners in Dispute Resolutions. He has been regarded as one of the leading individuals in Dispute Resolution by Asialaw and in Banking, Restructuring & Insolvency by IFLR1000.
